Hi, I'm Hussain Ibarra.

In January of 2023, I was in my last semester of university studying engineering.

I was scared of getting sucked into the old system. I saw many young and ambitious people around me lose their spark and become depressed as soon as they entered the workforce.

So I knew I had a very short window to find a way to “make it”.

I started by doing what any normal 21-year-old college student would do and searched on YouTube for “Best businesses to start as a beginner in 2023”.

I was overwhelmed with all the different business models I could start so I tried them all. Social media marketing agency, affiliate marketing, and private tutoring.

It was during that time that I started writing online and sharing everything that I learned along the side.

But sadly enough, nothing stuck, and the window to “make it” closed.

Fast-forward a few months and I landed an internship at one of the biggest developers in Dubai as an engineer.

A few months into the internship they offered me a full-time position at their company after I finished my internship.

I was “successful” in people’s eyes.

But what they didn’t know was that I was depressed during that time.

I realized how unfulfilling having a traditional corporate job is.

Doing the same repetitive tasks every day (I was living the same miserable day over and over again and putting more money into the pocket of the rich)

The only thing I was looking forward to in my day was writing online and sharing my interests, lessons, and advice I wish people told me before.

Seeing the impact I had on people’s lives made me feel happy and gave me a sense of fulfillment like no other (I felt like I finally had a purpose in my life).

You’re already a creator but on a much smaller scale.

All the text messages you sent, conversations you had, and books you read, all fall under the hat of you being a content creator but you’re not aware of it (yet).

• I read, listen, and watch topics that I’m interested in
• Take notes and create a Content Map so that I can later use as content firepower
• Pick a topic I’m interested in writing about for my newsletter at the start of each week.
• After publishing the newsletter it gets turned into threads, long-form Twitter posts, and tweets (plugging the newsletter they missed)
• Most of the time the newsletter inspires me to write another newsletter and dive even deeper, creating a content rabbit hole that people can’t help but keep reading (which then gets turned into a lead magnet).
• Lastly, I plug my offers and products in my newsletter.

This is the entire process that gets me followers, leads, clients, and customers.

As you can see my newsletter is the backbone of my writing business.

A lot of people like to make things look more complex than they should be.

Doing paid ads, engagement, retweets, etc.

But I follow a simple rule:
